Mia Hamm is a former american soccer player who competed with the U.S. women's national soccer team for 17 years.The excellence that Mia Hamm achieved was that she won the women's world cup in 1991 and 1999. She also won olympic gold medals in 1996 and 2004. She is considered as the best female soccer player. She was also named “world player of the year” by FIFA in 2001 and 2002.Hamm excellence was achieved because she was very dedicated and was encouraged by her brother Garrett to play in a sport as well as she would practice to be better and over achieve her goals. She is also a founder of the organization called Mia Hamm foundation which is dedicated to raise funds and awareness for families how need a marrow or card blood transplant. Technology can impacted her arete experience because in future there might be a cure for bone marrow and there would no need for transplant and this will impact her in a positive way because there would be no need to do transplant.
